Terms of use

Version 2026-11-05 · Last updated: 5 November 2026

This is a translation for your convenience. The data controller is based in Spain and Spanish law applies: if there is any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

These terms govern the use of Market Pro Clubs. By creating an account you declare that you have read and accept them.

1. Who we are and what we offer

Market Pro Clubs is a service, currently free of charge, run by Rubén Cantero (NIF available on request at [email protected] (to authorities or with a justified request)), which lets EA SPORTS FC Pro Clubs players and clubs from across Europe make themselves known, post vacancies and contact each other through an internal chat or social networks. We do not take part in agreements between users and do not guarantee that any transfer will happen. We are not affiliated with Electronic Arts or the leagues mentioned (see the legal notice).

2. Registration and account

  • You must be at least 14 (the Spanish-law threshold, which applies to the controller) and provide truthful information. If the minimum age to consent to data processing for online services in your country of residence is higher (up to 16), you need the authorisation of your parent or legal guardian to use the service. Your date of birth is requested at sign-up only to check your age and work out the date you turn 18; it is not stored.
  • The account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for any activity carried out with it.
  • Only one account per person is allowed. Accounts impersonating other people or clubs are not permitted.
  • Club managers declare that they are authorised to represent that club.

3. Rules of use

You agree to use the service in good faith and in accordance with the law and these terms. In particular, it is forbidden to post unlawful content, harass, insult or discriminate, impersonate others, send spam or unsolicited advertising, ask for or send money or payment details, share third parties' personal data without their consent, contact minors for inappropriate purposes, try to bypass security measures or extract data in bulk. The community rules explain these in plain language and form part of these terms. The current version of the chat rules is 2026-11-04.

You are responsible for what you publish. You grant us a non-exclusive, free and limited licence to host and display your content within the service while your account is active, solely in order to provide it. You remain the author and owner.

4. How we moderate

To keep the environment safe we use the following tools, which we describe clearly in accordance with article 14 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (DSA):

  • Targeted automated filters in the chat (payment details, suspicious links, scams, insults and risk signals for minors). They flag messages for review; they only block IBANs and card numbers automatically.
  • User reports from every profile, club or message.
  • Human review by the moderation team. A conversation is only read after a report or an alert, limited to the thread concerned, and every access is logged.
  • Possible measures: warning, deletion of a piece of content, temporary chat mute, temporary or permanent suspension of the account or club.

No account is suspended automatically: every suspension or restriction is decided by a person and communicated to you with a statement of reasons (facts, rule breached, measure and options for appeal), in line with article 17 DSA. Where there are signs of crimes that threaten people's life or safety, we will report them to the competent authorities (art. 18 DSA).

5. Reports and notices

Users can report from within the site. Anyone, including people without an account, can notify us of content they consider unlawful through the contact form, giving the exact URL, a sufficiently substantiated explanation and a statement of good faith, in line with article 16 DSA. We will send an acknowledgement and tell you the decision.

6. Appeals and complaints

If you disagree with a moderation decision, you can reply to the notification email or write to us through the contact form explaining your reasons. A member of the team other than the one who took the decision, where possible, will review it and give you a reasoned reply. You can also go to the courts or to the out-of-court dispute settlement bodies provided for in article 21 DSA, and to the data protection authority if the complaint concerns your personal data.

7. Closing conversations and deleting your account

The chat is ephemeral. Both the player and the club can close a conversation at any time; when closed, all its messages are deleted for both sides and the other side receives a notice. Conversations with no activity for 30 days are deleted automatically. If you get in touch again, the conversation starts empty. Reports keep a copy of the reported message while they are being handled.

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Your profile is removed immediately; your messages are anonymised and their content is deleted after 30 days, unless an open report requires them to be kept until it is resolved. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, following the moderation procedure described. Accounts inactive for two years are notified and then deleted.

8. Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is” with no guarantee of continuous availability. We are not responsible for agreements reached between users, for the content of third-party networks, or for the accuracy of statistics imported from leagues or EA. Nothing here limits the rights that the law gives to consumers or our liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Price and possible paid features

Use of the service is currently free of charge. The controller may introduce paid features, subscriptions or donations. We will give at least 30 days' notice in these terms and by email, without affecting data already processed. Any charge will come with its own prior information on prices and purchase conditions, and the right of withdrawal that applies under consumer law. Under-18s may not purchase paid features without the consent of their legal guardian.

10. Changes and version

We may change these terms for legal, technical or security reasons. Significant changes will be notified in reasonable advance and, where appropriate, we will ask for your acceptance again. Current version: 2026-11-05.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without prejudice to the mandatory rights that the law of your country of residence gives you if you are a consumer. Disputes will be heard by the courts that are competent under consumer law or, failing that, those of the controller's domicile (available on request at [email protected] (to authorities or with a justified request)).
